Stay Connected

We came to Earth as spiritual beings coming into a physical world.  The challenge in this world has been and always will be to live in a temporal world, constantly bombarded by temporal concerns and ideas, and yet be able to stay connected to the spiritual aspect of ourselves, our God, and  connected to the eternal perspective of this life.

  I love this prayer by Ruth Peale, wife of the famous Norman Vincent Peale.  It seems that these two people had it figured it; they figured out how to live abundantly in this temporal world and at the same time stay connected to God, to His Son, Jesus Christ, and to the Holy Ghost.  Their faith was great, and their joy even greater.  And when they passed through the veil at death, they had lived a life of staying connected to Heaven.
