More and more studies are proving that our emotions are a bigger part of the picture than we ever imagined in our relationships, in our health, in our daily circumstances, in our emotional well being, and so much more.
Our emotions carry energy frequencies with them, and energy frequencies attract "like" energy frequencies, so it makes sense that we have to address the emotions that we carry from certain situations and thoughts. We must learn to change these emotions that are going on inside of us from negative to positive.
One way of doing this is to practice GRATITUDE.
Imagine an empty jar. The natural man in each of us tends to see an empty or low jar so much of the time. We easily notice the lack of money we have, lack of energy, lack of health, lack of fun, lack of affection, lack of help, lack of blessings, lack of respect, lack of fulfillment in different areas, etc. WOW! That's a lot of lack. I feel negative just writing this!
When we focus on the "lack," the emotions that resonate within us immediately become negative. We may feel angry, irritated, rejected, depressed, unfulfilled, and overwhelmed!
Remember: Negative emotions=negative results
We cannot wait for circumstances to change in order to feel like our jar is full instead of empty. We cannot wait for God and others to grant us certain desires before we stop feeling the emotions that accompany lack.
We have to actively change our emotions, and fill our empty jar.
We must start noticing all the little drops in life! The blessings are there! The fulfillment is there! The love is there! The respect is there! The progress is there! We must take off our blinders and start noticing all the little things that PROVE to us that God is good, that our spouse does love and appreciate us, that our life has meaning and purpose, that our children love and respect us, that we are getting healthier, etc.
When you notice one little thing, imagine one little drop going into your empty jar, and then imagine it expanding to fill your whole jar. While you imagine that drop expanding, FEEL the emotion of gratitude, love, and hope.
Let that one drop be enough to get you through until the next drop. Keep your jar full and pretty soon, you will feel positive emotions running through you, and the only thing that really changed was that you started noticing the little things and that you decided to change your emotions!
