Did you know...

  • The human brain has a memory capacity which is the equivalent of more than four terabytes on a hard drive.
  • A newborn child can breathe and swallow at the same time for up to seven months.
  • Nerve impulses sent from the brain move at a speed of 170 mph
  • A single human brain generates more electrical impulses in a day than all the telephones of the world combined.
  • The average human body contains enough sulfur to kill all the fleas on the average dog, enough carbon to make 900 pencils, enough potassium to fire a toy cannon, enough fat to make seven bars of soap and enough water to fill a 13.2 gallon barrel.
  • The human heart pumps 47.56 million gallons of blood during the average lifetime.
  • 50,000 cells in your body died and were replaced by new ones while you were reading this sentence.

Yes, God's greatest creation is truly us!

Within all of our amazing bodies is who we are on a personal level- our experiences, thoughts, perceptions, emotions, struggles, talents, and dreams.  We are complex, wonderful beings that have potential for great joy, love, healing, and creating.

We need help changing so that we can reach our fullest potential with our amazing bodies, hearts, and minds.

Water to Wine

One day, long ago, Jesus attended a wedding feast.  They were running low on wine and Mary came to her Son to let Him know.  Jesus spotted 6 large water pots and told the servants to fill them all with water, then they were instructed to draw out of them and serve it to the governor.

The water had immediately turned to wine! When the governor tasted the wine, he was very impressed and said that they had saved the best wine for last.

Jesus not only turned water to wine, He turned it into the best of wine, the kind of wine that would have taken years to make.

Jesus Christ wanted to teach us that if He can turn water to wine, then He can truly change us, even with all our complexities and hard hearts.

The greatest miracle is truly the changing of our hearts, minds, and bodies.  The greatest miracle is that on that night in Gethsemane, Christ suffered all of the darkness and chains that bind us and keep us captive---then He broke it all those chains.  He was liberated from that power of darkness and paved the way for us to be liberated too.

He paved the way for us to find light, peace, healing, joy, and freedom.

We all want to be better; we all want to realize our potential; we all want change, and we all need change, and true change is only possible through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Do we really believe how incredible our hearts, minds, and bodies are-how adaptive and smart?

Do we really believe in the Savior's ability to help us overcome the struggles we are up against in this mortal life and cleanse us, purify us, heal us, and ultimately change us?

If Jesus turned water to wine, then he can surely CHANGE you and me.
